The problem with the thinking of many today is that if the govt said their monkey butts belonged to them or the public many would believe it and pay taxes on their flatulence if so directed. Apparently, many believe that the govt can decree into existence whatever they please regardless of the validity, legitimacy, credibility, or legality of it; while also commandeering, monopolizing, or centralizing all power, wealth, land, and resources it pleases as well = Treason!
